#Ukip Elected Official : "Anyone But A Muslim"

Just 4 words, that's all.

But 4 words which highlight both a curse - and an opportunity - for Ukip.



The comment was made on Facebook by Sarah Larkins, Councillor and Deputy Mayor of Ramsgate (yet another seaside town in the partial grip of Ukip. What is it with beaches?) in reference to Sadiq Khan, Mayoral Candidate for Ukip.

By her comment we can reasonably deduce that she thinks it matters not (or she doesn't care) who becomes Mayor of London, as long as that person does not follow the faith of Islam.

A clearer, more unequivocal example of Islamic Hatred from a Ukip Official we can scarce recall.

Peter Whittle, Ukip Candidate for same, has yet to comment on the Islamic Hatred of his colleague - but then, no change there. He also refuses to comment on the Gay Hate of his other colleague, Alan Craig.

Of course, the level of Hate against Islam and Muslims on Social Media from Ukip supporters, followers and voters is "a torrent, a flood, a storm" (all favourite Ukip words).

'No comment'

This is the curse of Ukip - that their core support does not hold back from their hatred online. Ukip, of course, claim (often, because it happens often) that this is out of their control, although they do nothing to condemn it.

But an elected official (and of course a party member) is very much in their control. This is a real opportunity for Ukip to show that they do (as they claim) root out the Hate in their party.

But...

Even while writing this post, word came through that Ukip have deemed this comment as acceptable. They stated that:

".. The party would not be disciplining the councillor over the Facebook post." 

Further proof, if any were required, that Ukip refuse to face up to the Hate that so often wears a purple rosette.

Surprising even more is the fact that Larkins should be protecting the rights of minority groups, being as she is, transgender - which we of course respect, fully, as a matter wholly unrelated to her politics. But we have little doubt she has, like many with gender issues, almost certainly been the target of abuse at some point due to this.

Seems now though she's happy to dish out the same hatred.

Her Twitter account at @SarahLarkins is now, naturally, protected. No surprise there.

The real story here is: "Ukip, despite evidence, refuse to sanction or eject an elected Official who openly calls for discrimination against Muslims."

Perhaps Ukip have now just stopped pretending.

Larkins apologised (kind of) today:

"I wish to offer an unreserved apology for offence caused by my recent comment on Facebook."

"I acknowledge this is not party policy, and realise the comment risked blaming a whole religion for the actions of a few."

Although we're not sure this actually constitutes an apology, as this does not directly mention the person to whom the comment was addressed, Sadiq Khan.

Ukip's David Coburn Tried To 'Set The Record Straight' And Made An Ass Of Himself

Oh, dear, David.

After the Scottish Leaders Debate, Coburn was referred to on Twitter as Shouty McShoutyFace

Scottish current affairs magazine Holyrood yesterday ran a piece in which Ukip MEP David Coburn (he of the ill-fitting 1950's tweeds, cape, deerstalker and toaster anger) wanted, he said, to 'set the record straight'.

Or, as the journalist pointed out, 'demanded an interview, repeatedly' because he was 'left out' of the magazine 'Conference' issue.

The fact that he was left out is quite understandable when you consider that not only was the photo of leaders of parties with actual elected officials in Scotland - but also that Ukip in Scotland are polling very low. Really very low.

On the independant bias-free "What Scotland Thinks", Ukip were lumped in with 'Other Parties' at 3% and actually polled at 0% with TNS/BRMB.

What puzzled us was firstly, why Coburn thought he had a right to demand an interview. If the media thought Ukip were contenders they'd have included him. They aren't - so they didn't.

Secondly, after his abysmal track record in dealing with the media, we wonder how Coburn ever thought an interview would improve his standing.

In the Scottish Leaders Debate (in which he was included, despite him leading a Party of .. well, just himself, really) he was scored at 1/10 and became laughing stock on Social Media.

The #Ukip 'Securing Our Borders' Mantra, Busted.

It's a very standard Ukip catchphrase, and a very good soundbite for TV: 'Securing Our Borders'.

It suggests that our security is damaged by the inability to stop EU nationals from migrating at will to the UK.

And it's at worst, wrong .. at best, debatable but irrelevant.

Four good reasons:

1. If we left the EU, we surely would not bar EU nationals from visiting or studying in the UK.
   
   Migrating? Living? Working? Maybe. (Perhaps they would qualify anyway, under this mythical 'Points System; that Ukip mention but fail to detail.)
   
   So if there is a security threat from EU nationals - or anyone given temporary right to move within EU nations (and that's a debatable 'if') then it can only be countered by a complete ban on all movement of all EU Nationals to the UK for any reason. Any reason at all. Which may well be desirable to Ukip .. but not to our Tourist Industry, our Educational Establishments and our entire Economy.
    
2. The best way to deal with the security threat is co-operation with other European Agencies. This is on-going, and will not be affected either way by Brexit.
   
   And if we continue to be a part of this, by the way, we need to part-fund it, like the many other European / EU Organisations we actually want to be a part of: which also puts the 'getting back all our EU cash' Myth into the long grass.
    
3. To say we cannot deport EU nationals is false. We do not have to allow criminals into the UK. Any EU citizen can be refused entry to any EU nation if they are considered to be a threat, any kind of threat. How do we know if they're a threat? By co-operation with other EU nations, of course.
   
   Ukip of course know this, but they continue to propagate the lie, which is a very Ukip thing.
   
   We have the right to deport them, too, for many reasons.
   
   The fact that the current Government do not put the required resources in to do so, is clearly not the fault of the EU.
    
4. If Ukip or Brexiteers consider that entry to the UK for EU Nationals without a visa is a security risk, consider this:
   
   57 non-EU Nations - with over 1.1 billion residents - have the right to visa-free travel to the UK. These are often from nations with whose Security Services we have little organizational information exchange; so often, no or little data on the threat that each individual may pose, and no background checks.
   
   It seems that Ukip want a full background check and security clearance on, say, someone from Portugal - but are happy for a Botswanan or El Salvadorian to saunter through. Ukip don't want visa-free travel for a Frenchman - but a Malaysian or Namibian can walk right on in.
   
   This policy, of course, is nothing to do with the EU and is the responsibility of the UK Government in toto.

Nations who's citizens can just come to the UK without a visa.

So the 'security threat' that Ukip mention in relation to visa-free EU travel, if genuine, needs to be extended (on Ukip's logic) to ...

... every nation on the planet, apparently.

The Wild West: Another Tale From The Rotten State of #Ukip

Another post based on information from one of our many 'people inside Ukip' - this time, our mole deep within Ukip South West.

Last month we wrote about the rotten state of UKIP in the South West, and since our expose the party have strived to make changes… the only problem is the changes were to PROMOTE the ring leader of the anti-Semitic cover up.

Stuart Guppy, of UKIP St Ives fame, has not only been approved as ‘County Vice-Chairman’, and he has also been made a local co-ordinator for Grassroots Out - and reconfirmed as a Branch Chairman! So much for #Ukip weeding out the extremists.

Guppy’s boss, UKIP Cornwall Chairman David Lucas, previously called the Cornish people “unwashed”, so he will be in good company. Sources tell us that Diane Belk, constituency manager for UKIP MEP Julia Reid, approved the move.

But this wasn’t Belk’s only recent appointment, she has also made Mike Hemmings a South West Grassroots Out coordinator. Hemmings, a former used car salesman, is a little known kipper who is making a name for himself in the party ranks.

But onto our main point...

Hemmings discovered an 11 year old child who had "written an email" to Nigel Farage (well, so her loyally Ukip father claimed). He describes her as "switched on to the needs of this country".

Remember, she's 11.

He describes her as an "articulate and capable young lady" "a better voice than older people" and a "great marketing opportunity".

Just remember, this kid is 11.

He suggested she should be brought to hustings, and be given an opportunity to read her letter out to the audience.

Yeah, this is a child of 11 years old that Ukip's Hemmings wanted to use for political gain.

And it's in doubt that she ever even wrote the email at all, although we never get to see the actual email so we don't know it's contents. If she did, it's pretty likely to be under the heavy influence of her father, a solid Ukip member. Indoctrination at a young age is very Ukip.

Hemmings is the type of person that UKIP / Grassroots Out find acceptable to promote the BREXIT campaign.

I anybody surprised at this? We aren't.

Hemmings email in which he discusses the 11 year old as a 'marketing opportunity'.

Hemmings also specialises in rather disgusting views on Muslims, yet despite this, has been given the official 'nod of approval' and promoted. That's *very* UKip.

This Muslim-hate piece, crammed with false science about "genetic mutations and inbreeding", was shared by Hemmings.

Who seems to be unaware that "genetic mutations and inbreeding" has almost been standard procedure within European Monarchy since the 11th Century...

Hemmings shared this post, from self-confessed Muslim Hater George Garbow of 'Counter Jihad': "I am an Islamophobe, I'm proud to be an Islamophobe and you should be proud to."

Echoes Of 1936 - The European Far-Right Rises

Is this Berlin in 1936?

One of the Nuremburg Rallies, perhaps? No. Looks like it, though, doesn't it?

It's now.

March, 2016, in Bratislava, Slovakia, and it's a parade by the 'Kotleba' Slovakia Peoples Party.

Kooks and Weirdo's, right?

Except - they got 8% of the vote in the last Slovakian Election, and gained 14 seats from nowhere. They are described as 'ultra-nationalist right-wing extremists' and are happy to be called such.

Compare their result with that of the KDH, the moderate Christian Democratic Party, who got wiped out - losing every Parliamentary member.

The worrying aspect of this is that no-one is surprised. Almost all nations of Europe have seen a rise in Parties espousing Extreme Nationalism, Hatred of Minorities, Supression of Rights and all the usual aspects of historical Fascism.

We have often been told, as veteran Anti-Fascists, that our battle is won, there are no more Nazis, only small groups of thugs dressing up.

No. The battle is never won. #NoPasaran.

The Ukip String-Puller - The Mysterious Lisa Duffy

.. and how Peter Reeve got his job back.

One of the downsides of being quite 'high profile' in the fight against Ukip is that we get targeted by Ukip and their allies, constantly. But one of the benefits is that we seem to be becoming the go-to people for when Ukip folks want to air their dirty linen in a rather public manner.

Because of the Byzantine-like manner in which Ukip is run (cliques, favourites, cronies, jobs for acolytes, etc) there is constant strife and confusion within the Party. People's job titles do not reflect their roles or duties. Juniors and Assistants seem sometimes to have more authority than their bosses. EU-paid staffers do British Political work, while UK staffers / volunteers help in Europe. It's a confusing mess.

And when individuals are selected for senior positions simply because they are the most subservient to Nigel, regardless of any skills or experience, this generates huge resentment among those who actually do their jobs very well but hold occasionally different policy ideas to Farage.

Which results in those passed-over staffers aiming to bring those 'lackeys' down to earth. By talking to us. We won't complain about that.

We thought it timely to repost our recent look at this seedy and very suspect rabble.

It's also timely because on Monday (7/3) the kippers will be revealing who among their seedy ranks will be topping their regional lists for the forthcoming Welsh Assembly elections.

And we're reliably informed by a source close to the kippers that if a certain 'Herr Hamilton' is among the said list 'toppers', or Farage flunkies Mark Reckless and Alexandra Phillips, then a major split in Ukip in Wales is on the cards - possibly entailing a breakaway faction who'll actually oppose Ukip at the Welsh polls in May. Watch this space as they say.

An emotive title to this post, but one which can be said to be a fair assessment of some of the prime movers and shakers that constitutes UKIP in Wales. Of course as we write Ukip Wales are engulfed in an internal row which threatens to derail their campaign for the Welsh Assembly election in May.

First off - Chairperson of Ukip Wales David Rowlands. A veteran kipper since the party's early days, Rowlands hit the headlines in 2013 for all the wrong reasons when he became embroiled in what the media dubbed "an extraordinary race row".

Not content with propagating anti-immigrant scare stories, Rowlands sought to pour more petrol on the flames of this sensitive topic by seeking to highlight the numbers of what he called "coloured" immigrants coming to the UK.

No, Ukip, The EU Does Not Plan To Tax Vaping at 57%, And Never Did.

This Mod has recently switched, as have many, to vaping instead of smoking cigarettes. So I was naturally SHOCKED to read in the Daily Mail that the EU had plans to hugely increased the taxes on vape products, with an excise duty of 57%, on top of the 20% VAT already paid.

Then we remembered that it was a story in the Daily Mail, and safely ignored it. And we were correct to do so.

Actually the story started in The Times. Phone Hacker Murdoch has clearly planted his flag in the Brexit Camp.

But now, thanks to digging by InFacts.org we now know the background behind the lie. Their research is here.

The mythbusting is summarised in this quotation:

"InFacts contacted the European Commission, which said the Times article was “incorrect” and there were “absolutely no plans at this stage to introduce excise duty for e-cigarettes. Nor has there been any suggestion that e-cigarettes would be taxed at the same level as cigarettes.”

"Neither is the Commission the driving force behind this review. As the Times pointed out, it was initiated by members of Coreper – ambassadors from each of the 28 member states. And should a change in tax be proposed, it would require the unanimous support of all EU governments."

Of course, with the story proven as false (and The Daily Mail quickly changing the wording of their original story, as if people wouldn't notice) one would think that Ukip and Nigel Farage would know this.

No. Instead, they choose to promote yet another EU Myth.

Appalled that EU set to tax e-cigarettes at same levels as tobacco. All vapers must vote to Leave EU!

One wonders whether Farage's outrage is connected at all to Ukip receiving a sizeable donation from UK's largest Vape manufacturer (A donation the company later said they 'regretted')

Or is it connected to his lobbying for the Vaping Industry?

Ukip And The 'Thought Police'

One of the Ukip Kipper's favourite pastimes is making claims that the 'thought police' are in some way curtailing their freedom of speech and how they can not say what they are REALLY feeling or what they are REALLY thinking. Nigel Farage is the master of this, along with his deputy Paul Nuttall, who likes to talk about how the 'Cultural Marxists' are forcing us all to be politically correct and Paul likes to write articles for trash newspapers like the Daily Sport and show how intelligent he is (not) with his pretentious faux-academic drivel which gets suitably lapped up by his rabid followers.

On the 'What Ukip Stand For' statement of principles it is stated that 'political correctness is stifling free speech' and yet what we see is exactly the opposite, with Ukip and their purple army in full force on social media saying exactly what they want, whenever they want, and what is actually happening is that the Ukip Kippers are trying very hard to twist this whole thing into something it clearly is not.

Allow me to explain.

When George Orwell wrote his novel 1984 he described the 'thought police' as people hired by the government to monitor all of the telescreens, and to hunt down and find anyone who has committed crimes against Big Brother and the Party.  Those crimes are speaking out, not participating in activities, appearing to not enjoy Party activities, and even thinking badly about activities.  Thoughts would be monitored when you are sleeping, when you talk in your sleep, and those words would reflect your inner thoughts.  Sometimes, you might hesitate before chanting a Party ritual.  Sometimes, you might not be yelling out hatred during the set-aside Hate times during the day.  Any hesitation, any apparent lack of enthusiasm or patriotism, is considered Thoughtcrime because it indicates that your thoughts are rebellious, that in your head and heart you aren't loyal to the Party.

But for Ukip Kippers to suggest that we are living in a society whereby we can not think what we want is entirely ludicrous. I will demonstrate this by a simple experiment.

Try thinking of an apple.

Did you manage that?

Now try thinking something bad, like hate for the main party, or contempt for Nigel Farage.

Did anything happen?

Now, let's go one step further.

Think something like 'all Muslims are terrorists'.

Anything?

Now try thinking 'all gay people are Nazis'.

Anyone knocking on your door yet?

No? 

It's getting rather ridiculous to be honest. Even Anne Widdecombe is jumping on the bandwagon now with this pathetic article in the Daily Express on Monday. She states 'yet again somebody has had his career threatened because he does not believe in gay marriage', but this is entirely untrue. What actually happened is that he referred to gay people as an 'abomination'. He didn't *think* it, he said it, and thinking something is very different to actually saying it, and the University (rightly so) decided that his actions had "transgressed boundaries which are not deemed appropriate for someone entering the social work profession".

Of course, Anne Widdecombe failed to mention that part in her article and concocted a wholly imaginative piece for the Express about 'thought police' and a society where we cannot express a view on a 'moral issue if it conflicts with state orthodoxy'. What a lot of tosh.

If we're going to get all 'Orwellian' about it we should be considering how people like Anne Widdecome and Nigel Farage and Paul Nuttall, and all the other hanger-ons like Katie Hopkins and James Delingpole and many many others who are getting away with their doublespeak, time and time again by claiming to be defenders of free speech. Furthermore, there is Ukip and the Ukip Kippers who are getting away with lying, whether knowingly or unconsciously, and using lies and choosing and shaping facts selectively, blocking out those that don’t fit their agenda.

This agenda is quite simple for Ukip. They want to be able to say what they want and get away with it. You either agree with them and what they say, or they will try and close YOU down. Ukip have a very select idea of 'freedom of speech' and it's either what they think, or nothing at all. It's their way or the highway, and this has been proven time and time again. If anything, they are the Party Of Hate, and Nigel Farage is Big Brother, and if you want to think or say otherwise then it's YOU committing a crime against them, and not the other way round.

And don't even get us started on those Kippers who have been expelled from the Party for not toeing the Ukip line.

So next time you see a Ukip Kipper telling you about the 'thought police' ask him or her to try our simple little experiment above and when they have done that, proceed to have a good laugh at them. Because it's very funny and very silly and they need to grow up and stop behaving like there is a big conspiracy controlling people's minds and how they think.

It's very easy to think what you want, and no one is going to stop anyone from thinking anything they want to. It's completely impossible and completely stupid, and all very, very Ukip.
